"The team has left for Odesa just a moment ago. [We are talking about] 70 operatives. A large-scale search and seizure operation is underway, 10 individuals have been detained," Sytnyk said.

According to him, the raid is held under probe into embezzlement of several hundred million hryvnia by employees of a state-owned enterprise.

Odesa-based NABU Directorate Chief Volodymyr Deulin later told local news outlet Dumskaia that the investigative actions were conducted in the Mykolaiv, Odesa regions, and in Kyiv under the supervision of the Specialized Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office.

"All the investigative actions are carried out under the criminal case initiated into abuse and embezzlement of budget funds during dredging operations in Mariupol and Berdiansk seaports that were carried out in 2015 and 2016," Deulin said.
