He stressed that the overall budget of the joint territorial communities increased to 9.5 billion hryvnia in 2017. The per capita income has significantly increased as well.
"There are communities in Ukraine that have per capita income of 8,000 hryvnia today which is twice as much as the one, for example, in Dnipro City. This is also one and a half time than the income per capita in Kyiv. This is the main indicator which shows the economic growth," Zubko stressed.
He also noted that the local budgets combined had reached 50 percent of the national one first in Ukraine’s history.
"2017 becomes the first year in the history of Ukraine when we have come up with the local budgets, including transfers, healthcare and educational subventions, and social benefits, amounting to 50 percent of the total national budget," the official said.
