74 Ukrainians held by Donbas militants released in prisoner swap

74 hostages previously held in the occupied Donbas have been liberated as a result of today’s prisoner exchange.

Presidential Envoy to the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Lutsenko wrote on social media, Censor.NET reports.

"We have good news which can already be voiced. The swap is over. Ukraine has received 74 hostages who were held in the occupied part of Donbas. They are coming back home!" the lawmaker wrote.

Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko also wrote a statement on social media: "I’ve just thanked our guys returning from captivity. Cyborg Oleksandr Morozov and historian Ihor Kozlovskyi are among them. Thanks for your endurance, guys!"
