No Ukrainian soldier killed or injured in past day, militants used 120-mm mortars near Pavlopil, - ATO HQ

The combined Russian and terrorist troops insidiously attacked the Ukrainian servicemen with weapons banned by the Minsk cease-fire deal late yesterday despite mutual agreement to maintain truce on Christmas and New Year holidays.

Censor.NET reports citing the update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) headquarters press center as of Dec. 25, 2017.

The Russian mercenaries shelled the ATO forces deployed in the vicinity of Pavlopil in Donetsk direction: five 120-mm mortar shells that came from temporarily occupied Sosnovske village hit the Ukrainian troops’ positions.

In Luhansk direction, the militants fired upon the Ukrainian defenses near Stanytsia Luhanska with small arms. The enemy drone was spotted flying in the vicinity of Novhorodske village which is also banned by the Minsk peace accords.
