Eight Georgian Legion members wounded, shell-shocked in action at Svitlodarsk salient

Eight soldiers of the Georgian Legion fighting against Donbas invaders were injured and got shell-shocked in a single enemy artillery strike at the Svitlodarsk salient.

Former press attaché for the Georgian Embassy in Ukraine Bacho Korchilava wrote on social media, Censor.NET reports.

"The Georgian Legion has eight of its members injured and shell-shocked. The guys came under artillery strike," he wrote.

The diplomat specified in comments to his post that all of the soldiers received combat injuries at the Svitlodarsk salient.

Activist Yurii Mysiahin later reported that the injuries the fighters had received were not critical.

"As for the eight wounded heroes from the Georgian Legion of the 25th Kyiv Rus Battalion, thank God, all the injuries are not serious. Some of them suffer from severe concussion while others have received light blast injuries," he said.
