No Ukrainian soldier killed or injured in 24 attacks recorded in Donbas over past day, - ATO HQ

The Russian-occupation troops continue to flagrantly violate the Minsk agreements by using prohibited mortars, tanks and heavy artillery in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone.

Censor.NET reports citing the update by the ATO headquarters press center as of Dec. 12, 2017.

“The militants shelled the approaches to Vrubivka village in Luhansk direction with 152-mm artillery yesterday evening while the defenders of Novooleksandrivka and Popasna came under strikes with 82-mm mortars.

“In Donetsk direction, the enemy fired a dozen 122-mm artillery shells at the defenses between Vodiane and Talakivka in the afternoon. The invaders also bombarded defenders of Pavlopil, Vodiane and Opytne with 120-mm mortars after dusk.

“The enemy shelled positions in the vicinity of Avdiivka with 82-mm mortars while a tank was employed against the defenders of Butivka mine. In addition, the invaders used grenade launchers and small arms against Ukrainian troops deployed on the outskirts of Kamianka and Novotroitske.

"A total of 24 violations of the cease-fire by the Russian-terrorist forces have been recorded over the past 24-hour period. No Ukrainian soldier was killed or injured in action," the situation report reads.

Earlier, the Russian mercenaries committed 22 attacks on the ATO forces’ positions on Dec. 11.
