BTR-80 APC with the emblem of Russian troops exploded on a land mine near Novoazovsk.

Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Herashchenko claimed this, Censor.NET reports citing the Interior Ministry press service.

According to him, a bomb was planted by the Azov volunteer police battalion soldiers on one of the roads not far from the town of Novoazovsk.

"There was Russian Airborne Troops emblem on the board of the BTR-80 APC. Landmine explosion immobilized the APC but the crew was unharmed and fled," Anton Herashchenko said.

In addition, he noted that in the morning the Azov battalion servicemen arrived at the scene of the explosion with the necessary equipment, loaded the Russian APC on the carriage and took to Mariupol for repairs.

"This BTR-80 APC will be in the ranks destroying the enemies of Ukraine in a week," the head of the Interior Ministry adviser said.
