Terrorists prevent open international investigation of the Boeing 777 tragedy, the aircraft downed by the militants in the Donetsk region on July 17, and seize all evidence.
This was announced today at a news briefing by NSDC Information Center speaker Andrii Lysenko, Censor.NET reports citing LigaBusinessInform.
"All work of the State Emergency Service units is carried out under the control of the militants, all evidence being seized. They have surrounded the crash site and SES crews work literally at gunpoint," Lysenko said.
Commenting on the discovery of two black boxes by the SES employees, the NSDC speaker said: "We have made an inquiry, officially black boxes have not been obtained yet."
Answering the question whether it is possible to encircle the terrorists who control the crash site, Lysenko said: "In no case clashes in the area where the tragedy occurred are to be allowed, otherwise all the evidence will be destroyed."
Earlier, a source in the Ministry of Defense said that according to preliminary estimates by U.S. intelligence the missile that destroyed the Boeing was fired by the militants from within eastern Ukraine.
Yesterday, July 17, at 16:20 Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 performing flight MH17 'Amsterdam - Kuala Lumpur' disappeared from radar screens. As it turned out, the plane was shot down near Torez in the Donetsk region. According to the latest data, 298 passengers from nine countries were on board.

Later today a covert surveillance units of the Interior Ministry at 4:50 have spotted a tractor loaded with a missile complex moving in the Krasnodon direction toward the Russian border.
