Names of Five Servicemen Killed in Downed by Militants Mi-8 Helicopter Near Sloviansk Are Revealed

The names of five servicemen who died in downed helicopter Mi-8 become known. There are officers and soldiers among them. The names of the officers of the Security Service of Ukraine on board are not disclosed.

The ATO press officer Olexii Dmytrashkovskyi informed 112.ua, Censor.NET reports.

Members of the helicopter crew - Lt. Col. Andrii Belkin, Major Roman Mazunov, captain Dmytro Shingur. They all are from the town of Brody of the Lviv region. The soldier Olexii Volokha and senior soldier Oleksander Kondakov were also killed.

The officers of the Security Service of Ukraine were the other four victims and their names are not disclosed.

Earlier, Mi-8 helicopter was shot down by the militants near Mount Karachun yesterday. 9 people were on board the helicopter. Their military task was to install special equipment to fix violations of the truce declared by the President of Ukraine.
