This was stated by Interior Minister Arsen Avakov on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.
"The special group of criminal investigation of the Ukrainian MVD detained Viktor Lozinskii a few minutes ago," Avakov wrote.
Yesterday, the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Viktor Lozinskii, convicted of murder, was released from prison early for health reasons. Today the Prosecutor's Office of the Kyiv region made an appeal against the ruling of the regional court of Borispol City and District Court to release Viktor Lozinskii from prison for health reasons.
Earlier, the High Specialized Court for Civil and Criminal Cases commuted Lozinskii's sentence. He had previously been sentenced to 14 years in prison for the murder of a resident of the Kirovohrad region Valerii Oliinyk and the court ruled a new sentence of 10 years of imprisonment.
